Raw stock
Each frame starts as 304 matte stainless steel — chosen because it holds paint and survives weather without complaint.

Hand prep
Every frame is hand-scuffed and sanded by us, not a machine. The surface needs tooth for the primer to grip, and there's no shortcut here.

Degrease & clean
Wiped down with automotive prep solvent until the surface reads clean. Skip this step and the paint lifts in a season.

Automotive primer
Sprayed with adhesion-promoting automotive primer and flashed off — the foundation everything else sits on.

BMW factory basecoat
Color-matched to your exact BMW paint code. The same basecoat the factory sprays, not a guess from a chip.

2K clearcoat + cure
Sealed under two-component urethane clear, then properly cured and dried before it ever leaves us. The matte is in the clear, not the basecoat.
