1. Who we are

PMW (Paint Match Works), operated by __PMW_LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME__, a __PMW_BUSINESS_STATE__ company ("PMW", "we", "us", "our"). We make paint-matched license plate frames for BMW vehicles.

2. What we collect

When you submit a vote or color request on this site, we collect:

  • —First name
  • —Email address or US phone number (depending on your choice)
  • —Your selected or requested color
  • —Whether you expressed interest in being a Brand Partner, and any social handles you provided
  • —A one-way hash of your IP address (we cannot recover the original IP from this)

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising.

3. Why we collect it

  • —To notify you when your chosen color is ready to ship
  • —To send you a launch discount code
  • —To contact Brand Partner applicants about partnership details
  • —To tally and display vote standings
  • —To prevent abuse (rate limiting via hashed IP)

We will not use your contact for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

4. How we store it

Your data is stored in a Neon Postgres database hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We retain your contact information until product launch plus 90 days, after which it is deleted unless you have made a purchase.

5. Third parties

We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate this service:

  • —Resend — transactional email delivery
  • —Neon — hosted PostgreSQL database
  • —Vercel — site hosting and analytics (aggregate, no PII)
  • —Twilio — SMS delivery (when you opt into text notifications)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you are located (EU, California, Canada, etc.), you may have rights including: access to your data, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email __PMW_PRIVACY_EMAIL__ with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Unsubscribe

To stop receiving messages from us: reply STOP to any text, or reply to any email with "unsubscribe" in the subject, or email unsubscribe@paintmatchworld.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
