1. Who we are

PMW (Paint Match World) is a sole proprietorship based in Florida(the terms "PMW", "we", "us", and "our" refer to this business). We sell stainless steel license plate frames painted to your BMW's exact OEM color code.

2. Information we collect

When you place an order. Checkout is processed by Shopify on our behalf. Through it we receive your name, shipping address, email, phone number, the frame color you selected, and any discount or affiliate code you used. Payment card details are handled directly by Shopify and its payment processors — we never see or store your full card number.

When you join the notify list. If you ask to be notified about availability, we collect your email address (and, if you choose SMS, your phone number) and the color you were interested in.

If you are an affiliate. If you join our affiliate program, we store your name, email, discount code, and payout records.

Automatically. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies or store personal identifiers). If advertising pixels are enabled (Meta Pixel and/or TikTok Pixel), they may set cookies or device identifiers to measure ad performance.

3. How we use your information

4. Cookies & tracking

Our core site uses Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and collects only aggregate, non-identifying usage data. If we run advertising campaigns, the Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel may be active and may use cookies or identifiers to attribute conversions. You can control these through your browser settings and through Meta's and TikTok's own ad-preference tools. Purchase events on the hosted checkout are governed by Shopify.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

• —Neon — hosted PostgreSQL database
• —Vercel — site hosting and aggregate analytics
• —Resend — transactional and notification email delivery
• —Twilio — SMS delivery (only if you opt into text updates)
• —Meta and TikTok — advertising measurement (only when campaigns are active)

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. How long we keep it

We retain order records as long as needed for fulfillment, accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Notify-list contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or the campaign ends. Affiliate records are kept for the life of the program plus any period required for tax and payout reconciliation.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK, California, or Canada), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of marketing or certain data uses. To exercise any of these, email privacy@paintmatchworld.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Unsubscribe

To stop receiving messages: reply STOP to any text, click unsubscribe in any email, or email unsubscribe@paintmatchworld.com. Transactional messages about an order you placed may still be sent.

9. Security

Data is stored with reputable providers and encrypted in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. Children

Our site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted here with a new date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
